Job summary

Tru Talent is seeking a skilled Panel Beater / Panel Technician in the Nuneaton area to join a leading body shop. You will repair damaged vehicles to factory specifications using modern equipment in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a recognised apprenticeship and a technical qualification, with preference for ATA/NVQ equivalents. A strong team player with self-motivation to earn bonus hours is essential.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship as a Panel Beater/Panel Technician/Car Body Repair Technician and a technical qualification (NVQ/VCQ/SVQ/ATA).
• Previous experience in a busy body shop and a strong team player with self-motivation to earn bonus hours.
• Up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques for heavy and minor crash repairs.

Responsibilities

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre.
• Follow repair techniques and produce work to factory specifications and customer satisfaction.
• Remove damaged panels and parts, and repair or replace them.
• Use welding equipment, hand tools, and power tools to reshape and fit panels.
• Smooth out dents and small imperfections using fillers and sanders.
• Align body parts for assembly and fit.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Annual Salary:Up to £52,000

Hours:42.5h Monday to Friday (No Weekends Required)

Our client is looking for a talented and efficient Panel Beater / Panel Technician with a valid ATA or NVQ equivalent to join this leading team. You will be repairing damaged vehicles in line with the manufacturers' specifications within a state-of-the-art Bodyshop, utilising modern equipment and techniques.

Responsibilities for Panel Beater / Panel Technician / Car Body Repair Technician:

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre
• Follow the correct repair techniques and produce work in line with factory specifications and customer satisfaction
• Remove damaged panels and parts, and repair or replace them
• Use welding equipment, hand tools, and power tools to reshape and fit panels
