Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Panel Beater to join a busy accident repair centre in Preston. You will perform high-quality repairs on a range of vehicles, upholding manufacturer standards and internal guidelines.

The role requires proven experience in panel beating within a bodyshop environment; ATA qualifications are advantageous. A strong attention to detail and professional communication are essential for efficient, quality repairs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Panel Beater within a busy bodyshop or accident repair environment.
• ATA qualification would be beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle repair techniques and bodyshop procedures.
• The successful Panel Beater will be confident identifying additional repair requirements.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• As a Panel Beater, you will carry out high-quality accident repair work on a variety of makes and models.
• Repair and maintain vehicles in line with manufacturer guidelines and company standards.
• Diagnose repair requirements and identify any additional work needed.
• Liaise effectively with the parts and estimating teams.
• Complete quality control checks to ensure all repairs meet the required standards.
• Work efficiently while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
• Communicate professionally with colleagues to support an efficient repair process.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately and within agreed timescales.
