Gilpin Spice is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie for our vibrant, open-kitchen pan-Asian restaurant. You will run your section with precision, support the brigade, and contribute to our bold, flavour-led dining experience.

Located at Gilpin Hotel & Lake House in the Lake District, the role offers 50 hours per week, a competitive salary (£34,060 per year) and opportunities to grow within a dynamic, award-winning kitchen.

Qualifications

• Experience in pan-Asian, Michelin-recommended, or high-end dining environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate your allocated section to an exceptional standard during service.
• Prepare, cook, and present dishes with precision and flair.
• Work closely with senior chefs on menu development and daily prep.
• Train and guide junior chefs, building skills and confidence.
• Maintain a calm, disciplined kitchen environment in a fast-paced setting.
