Job summary

Havens Hospices is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Little Havens In-Patient unit. The role provides holistic palliative care for children, young people and adults with complex conditions, in a 25-hour-per-week position covering evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

You must hold current NMC registration and be registered as a children's nurse, with a completed UK nursing preceptorship. You will join a dedicated multidisciplinary team delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• First level degree or diploma in nursing
• Current NMC registration
• Registered children's nurse
• Completed UK nursing preceptorship

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage holistic care for people with life-limiting or terminal conditions
• Deliver specialist palliative nursing care to high standards
• Enhance patients' independence and quality of life through therapies
• Give practical and emotional support to patients and their carers
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary care team
