Job summary

East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) is seeking a committed nurse (NMC registered) to join a multidisciplinary team in a 24/7 environment across hospital and community settings in the CAMBRIDGE area. The role covers diverse shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, with enhanced rates for evenings and weekends.

The post may be Band 5 or 6 depending on skills and experience. Applicants should have a full driving licence and be prepared to work across our Milton and Cambridge sites,

Qualifications

• NMC registration in the UK is essential.
• Full driving licence required.
• Experience in pediatric or learning disability settings is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic nursing care to babies, children and young people with long-term conditions and palliative care needs.
• Lead and coordinate shifts and supervise junior staff as needed.
• Provide care at the hospice and in the community including home visits.
• Participate in quality and safety groups and ensure documentation is up to date.
