Job summary

St Christopher’s CARE in Sydenham is recruiting a Clinical Nurse Specialist/Clinical Paramedic Specialist (Palliative Care) to join our community team. The role focuses on providing expert palliative care, supporting patients at end of life and helping families navigate goals and wishes, within a multidisciplinary setting.

You will deliver symptom control, psychosocial and spiritual care, alongside education for primary care and hospital staff.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse or paramedic with experience in end-of-life care.
• Experience at Band 6/equivalent or above.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support people in the last phase of life and help realise wishes.
• Provide symptom control, social, emotional and spiritual care.
• Educate and advise the primary health care team and hospital staff.
