Job summary

Expect Logistics, a Bradford-based logistics company, is seeking a Transport Coordinator to oversee daily pallet network movements, coordinate collections and deliveries, and ensure high service levels.

You will work with drivers, warehouse teams, and customers, monitor performance, and help maintain compliance with driver hours and licensing. The role offers a permanent contract, day shift, and competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Experience within transport, logistics, or pallet network operations.
• Strong planning, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using Transport Management Systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily pallet collections and deliveries within designated geographical areas.
• Support route planning activities to maximise vehicle utilisation and ensure cost-effective transport operations.
• Monitor vehicle movements and delivery performance throughout the day.
• Liaise with warehouse teams to ensure freight is loaded and unloaded efficiently.
• Act as a key point of contact for customers regarding collections, deliveries, and service enquiries.
• Ensure transport activities comply with Operator Licence requirements, Driver Hours legislation, and Working Time Regulations.
