Job summary

Amey is recruiting a skilled Painter/Decorator for HMP Risley in Warrington. This is a long‑term MoJ contract on one site with no travel between jobs.

You will perform planned and reactive painting and decorating, work safely to RAMS and H&S standards, and support prisoners with trade tasks as part of Amey's CRED programme. NVQ level 2/3 and solid experience are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting and Decorating.
• Strong experience in a Painting and Decorating role.
• Comfortable working in a prison environment, alongside prisoners.

Responsibilities

• Planned & reactive painting and decorating.
• Safe working to RAMS and H&S standards.
• Supporting prisoners with trade tasks as part of Amey's CRED programme.
