Job summary

Edwardian Manchester Hotel, a Radisson Collection property, is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join the maintenance team. You will look after daily hotel upkeep, address guest requests, and support other departments to keep the property running smoothly.

You will coordinate repair and planned maintenance orders, verify workmanship before sign-off, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. A hands-on, collaborative approach is essential in our busy hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Must have current hotel maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
• Ability to perform electrical, plumbing, decoration and carpentry tasks.

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant at The Edwardian Manchester Hotel, A Radisson Collection Hotel.

Overview:

• An amazing opportunity to the Maintenance team atThe Edwardian Manchester Hotel as a Maintenance Assistant.
• In this role you will maintain the hotel o n a daily basis to ensure its effective running. This will include performing all basic maintenance tasks as requested by guests in room or by other hotel heads of department.
• You will coordinate and prioritise repair-maintenance orders and planned maintenance orders.
• You will check all work you have completed before signing it off as complete.
• You will ensure that you always adhere to all regulatory and safety standards as legally required.

About You:

• You must possessive curren t hotel maintenance experience.
• Be fully aware of Health and safety procedures.
• Understand the requirements for effective water management.
• Have knowledge of Environmental EHO acknowledgment.
• Able to perform electrical, plumbing, decoration and carpentry tasks.
• Understands basic housekeeping processes and procedures.
• Works well with others and understands the value of teamwork.
