Job description

Join to apply for the Painter/Decorator role at TipTopJob.

Looking to recruit a Painter/Decorator to join a leading property services company based around North East London/Essex areas.

Offering up to GBP36,500 + van and benefits, you will work on a day-to-day repairs contract carrying out painting and decorating duties as well as damp and mould work in void and occupied properties.

Responsibilities include:

1. Damp and mould washes, emulsion, wallpaper, glossing, applying treatments, remedial tiling, plaster if needed.
2. Inspect and assess properties for damp and mould issues, identifying the root cause.
3. Carry out effective treatment and remediation work, including cleaning, sealing, and repairing affected areas.
4. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

1. Full UK driving licence.
2. Well organized, with good Health, Safety and Environmental knowledge.
3. Previous experience working with Damp and Mould, ideally in a social housing environment.
4. Trade qualification NVQ2, C&G, ideally in a wet trade.
