Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Painter/Decorator (Handyperson) to support multiple client sites across London, delivering high-quality painting, decorating and general maintenance services in a safe and efficient manner.

You will carry out painting and decorating tasks, ensure work meets health and safety standards, perform planned maintenance and reactive repairs, and keep precise maintenance records. A City & Guilds qualification and experience in facilities management are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management, construction, or building maintenance environments.
• City & Guilds Level 2/3 in Painting & Decorating or similar trade.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality maintenance and repair work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out painting and decorating tasks across client sites to a high standard.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations and client expectations.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repair works.
• Record accurate maintenance data, including materials used and time taken.
• Identify and report defects, vulnerabilities, and scope issues to improve service delivery.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.
