Job summary

Mitie is seeking an Apprentice Painter & Decorator in Middlesbrough to learn from experienced pros, work on a variety of projects, and earn while you learn a recognised Painting & Decorating qualification.

This permanent, full-time apprenticeship offers 39 hours per week and a pathway to a skilled trade with on-the-job training within Mitie Property Services.

Responsibilities

• Internal and external painting and decorating works.
• Preparing surfaces, including sanding, filling and minor repair works.
• Learning how to use painting and decorating tools, materials and equipment safely.
• Assisting with the erection and use of access equipment following training.
• Setting up access plant, protective coverings and temporary screening where required.
• Maintaining decorating materials and equipment to ensure efficient working practices.
• Delivering high-quality workmanship while meeting customer expectations.
