Job summary

ALECTO RECRUITMENT LTD is seeking a dedicated Painter/Decorator for an on-site role at HMP Long Lartin in Evesham, England. The position covers planned and reactive maintenance with a 39-hour week, Monday to Friday, ensuring safety and quality across the prison environment.

You will be NVQ 2/3 qualified in Painting & Decorating, with relevant experience, a strong awareness of health and safety, risk assessments, and the ability to work professionally alongside prisoners.

• NVQ 2/3 in Painting & Decorating required.
• Previous relevant work experience.
• Good understanding of health and safety, method statements and risk assessments.
• Comfortable working alongside prisoners.

Responsibilities

ThePainter/Decoratorplays an important part in ensuring the planned and reactive maintenance work within the prisons is carried out in a safe, compliant and timely manner.

What you will do:

• Planned and reactive paint work in all areas of the prison.
• Responsibility for the care and maintenance of tools, materials and additional company property.
• Compliance with relevant company Health & Safety Policy, instructions and directive.
• Thisrole will also support both local and businesszero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in astrategicand lean manner as and where it is appropriate.
• Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract.

What you will bring:
