Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a time-served painter for an industrial/commercial environment on a temporary basis. The role covers painting internal/external surfaces, surface prep and working at height with IPAF certification.

You will work Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm, in occupied properties, coordinating with maintenance teams, and adhering to COSHH and safety policies. NVQ Level 2 is desirable; but experience counts more.

Qualifications

• Time-served painter with proven industrial or commercial experience.
• IPAF certification essential for working at height.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.
• Strong health and safety awareness.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating desirable.
• Knowledge of painting techniques, surface prep and finishing.
• Experience in occupied properties and managing customer expectations.
• Familiarity with COSHH and safe material handling.

Responsibilities

About The Role:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming as required.
• Operate access equipment safely and efficiently (IPAF certification required).
• Conduct routine inspections and touch-ups to maintain site standards.
• Work collaboratively with maintenance and operations teams to minimize disruption.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
• Adhere to site hygiene, safety, and environmental policies.

Requirements:
