Job summary

Royal Lancaster London is seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our Engineering team with an immediate start. You will contribute to delivering memorable five-star service, painting and decorating both internal and external spaces across our property, while fostering a positive, collaborative atmosphere.

The role requires attention to detail, a professional finish, and a willingness to work across multiple locations as needed. All applicants must be legally eligible to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Painter and Decorator.
• Hospitality/hotel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre- and post-inspections of occupied and vacant rooms and properties to assess painting and decorating needs.
• Identify decoration requirements and perform cost-effective preparation and applications of finishes.
• Complete a wide range of internal and external painting tasks to a high standard in occupied or vacant properties.
• Prepare surfaces and apply paints, stains, lacquers, enamels, varnishes and other finishes per manufacturer guidelines.
• Work flexibly across multiple properties and locations in line with business needs.

As aPainter and Decorator,your main duties and expectations for the role will include:

• Conduct pre- and post-inspections of occupied and vacant rooms and properties to assess the scope of internal and external painting and decorating works required.
• Identify decoration requirements and carry out the most cost-effective and efficient preparation, repair, and application of decorative finishes.
• Complete a wide range of internal and external painting and redecoration tasks to a high standard, ensuring a durable and professional finish in both occupied and vacant properties.
• Prepare surfaces and apply paints, stains, lacquers, enamels, varnishes, metal coatings, fire-retardant products, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment in line with manufacturer guidelines.
• Work flexibly across multiple properties and locations in line with business needs and operational requirements.

You will be required to work40 hoursper week, on a shift rota.
