This flexible bank role supports busy periods and staff absences, with duties covering internal and external painting, touch-ups, and fabric refurbishment across Circle Health Group facilities.

Qualifications

• CSCS Card at appropriate level.
• Pasma and ladder use training.
• Ability to hang all types and styles of wall coverings.
• Ability to work under own initiative.
• Part qualifications in Engineering training programme or apprenticeship and specialise in Painting/Decorating.
• Experience working with Contractors and others.
• Working understanding of COSHH regulations.
• Understanding of Health and Safety guidelines and applicable law.

Responsibilities

• Provide Painting and Decorating service to Circle Health Group Facilities (internal and external).
• Touch up and fabric refurbishment on reactive and rolling programme basis.
• Advise on redecoration and fabric repair requirements across facilities.
• Ensure redecoration complies with lease obligations.
• Re-decorate exterior every 5 years and interior every 7 years in non-clinical areas.
• Re-decorate internal clinical areas when major equipment is replaced, at least every ten years.
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training.

Painter and Decorator (Bank) The Clementine Churchill Hospital Bank Shifts Salary: Up to £15.50 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification) The Clementine Churchill Hospital in Harrow Is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. We have an opportunity for a Painter and Decorator to join their team of staff in the Maintenance department. This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Duties Of This Role Include

• The provision of a Painting and Decorating service to Circle Health Group Facilities covering both internal and external aspects of the premises.
• Provide touch up and fabric refurbishment service on both a reactive and rolling programme basis.
• Provide competent advice on the redecoration and fabric repair requirements throughout the facilities.
• Ensure redecoration in line with Circle Health Group property lease obligations
• Exterior every 5 years
• Interior every 7 years to redecorate non-clinical areas
• To redecorate the internal clinical areas of the premises when major equipment is replaced. In any case this redecoration must be done at least once every ten years.
• You comply with all relevant mandatory training.

Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria

• Current Construction Safety Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card at appropriate level of qualification.
• Trained on high working, including Pasma/Ladder use.
• Ability to hang all types and styles of wall coverings e.g. wide width, fabric and paper backed etc.
• Ability to work under own initiative in a methodical process as required.
• Alternatively, part qualifications in Engineering training programme or part completed apprenticeship and specialised in Painting / Decorating afterwards.
• Previous experience in working alongside Contractors and others.
• Working understanding of the COSHH regulations.
• Basic understanding of Health and Safety guidelines and applicable law.
