Job summary

Hartford Care Ltd. is seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our Maintenance Team across our Kent care homes. This full-time role (40 hours per week) requires a driving license and the ability to travel between homes as needed.

You will handle internal and external painting, prep, repairs, and finishing, work at height using ladders or scaffolding, and support basic maintenance tasks. You’ll work with residents and staff with care and professionalism, following Health & Safety standards.

Qualifications

• Robust painting and decorating experience with a keen eye for detail.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team, maintaining a high degree of skill and professionalism.
• Ability to work at height.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
• Full and clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out painting and decorating tasks, including preparation, repair, and finishing of internal and external areas.

This role includes travel to our care homes in the county of Kent, so a driving licence and a vehicle is essential.
