You will prepare surfaces, apply paints and finishes, use brushes, rollers and spray equipment, and ensure areas are protected and tidy. The role involves working independently or as part of a team with a focus on safety and quality.

• Apply paint, varnish, stains, wallpaper, and other decorative finishes.
• Use brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and other painting tools safely and effectively.
• Protect floors, furniture, fixtures, and surrounding areas before starting work.
• Mix and match colours and finishes as required.
• Carry out interior and exterior painting and decorating work.
• Complete work to agreed timescales and quality standards.
• Keep work areas clean, tidy, and safe throughout the job.
• Identify and report any damage, defects, or additional work required.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work independently or as part of a team, depending on the project.
