Job summary

Runwood Homes is seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to service care homes across North Essex. You will handle preparation, painting, wallpapering and minor repairs to keep homes safe, welcoming and well-maintained for residents and staff.

Applicants must have proven painting/decorating experience and hold a full driving licence. Travel between multiple sites is a key part of the role, with opportunities to contribute to ongoing maintenance and quality presentation.

Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled and reliable Painter and Decorator to join our friendly support team, covering our care homes across the North Essex area. You will be responsible for carrying out complete decoration works and minor repair works, helping to ensure our care homes remain safe, well-maintained, welcoming, and maintained to a high standard for our residents, visitors, and colleagues.

  The ideal candidate will have proven experience in painting and decorating, with a practical, hands-on approach and the ability to carry out a range of minor maintenance and repair tasks.

You must hold a full driving licence, as the role will involve travelling between our care homes.
