Job summary

Think Recruitment is seeking a Painter to work for a local South Birmingham council. You will paint council properties to a high standard, including void properties and occasional tenanted properties. The role runs 8:00–16:00, Monday to Friday, with a van provided for work purposes.

The ideal candidate will have City and Guilds or NVQ in painting and decorating, plus experience in social housing and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• City and Guilds or NVQ in painting and decorating is required.
• Experience in social housing/council maintenance is essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Paint in council properties to a high standard.
• Work 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
• Perform painting and decorating in void properties and papering when requested.

About the role
