Job summary

Construction Resources is seeking an experienced Painter for a long-term contract in Salford. You will carry out painting and finishing works in high-rise residential schemes, prepare surfaces, prime and finish to a high standard, and work within occupied environments while maintaining safety and quality.

The role requires NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating, a Blue CSCS card, a full UK driving licence, own PPE and tools, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a site

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Painting & Decorating.
• Blue CSCS card.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Own transport.
• Own PPE and painting tools.
• Previous experience on residential or high-rise schemes.
• Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider site team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out painting and finishing works within high-rise residential apartment schemes.
• Prepare surfaces prior to painting, including filling, sanding and priming.
• Apply paint and finishing products to a high standard.
• Complete internal painting and decorating works across apartment developments and communal areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Work professionally within occupied and residential environments where required.
• Follow site health and safety requirements and project specifications.
• Work efficiently alongside other trades and site management to ensure projects remain on programme.
• Ensure all completed works meet the required quality standards.

The company delivers large-scale refurbishment and fire safety schemes for leading UK Build to Rent developers across major regional cities.
