Job summary

Niyaa People is recruiting an experienced Painter for a contract role across Cambridge and surrounding areas. You will work independently in residential void properties, with a Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm schedule.

The initial contract is two weeks, with the possibility of ongoing work, and fuel expenses for travel outside your usual area are covered. Materials will be supplied or arranged by the contractor, and you will be expected to complete decorating to a high standard while

Take on a contract role with fuel expenses covered for travel outside your usual working area, materials provided, and the opportunity for ongoing work as a Painter working across Cambridge and the surrounding areas. You’ll be working independently across residential properties, helping prepare homes for their next occupants. With consistent daytime hours, a supportive management team, and the possibility of extending beyond the initial assignment, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Painter looking for their next contract.

As a Painter, you will be:

• Completing painting and decorating work within void properties
• Preparing properties to a high standard for new tenants

The role is offering the following benefits:

• Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am to 5:00pm
• Initial contract expected to last at least two weeks with the potential for ongoing work
• Fuel expenses covered for travel outside your usual working area
• Materials supplied or arranged by the contractor
• This role is offering a day rate of £160 - £175 per day.

Location & travel

This Painter role is based in Cambridge, with work across the surrounding areas. You’ll typically remain at one property for several days at a time, reducing unnecessary travel, while fuel expenses are covered when travelling outside your normal working area. Cambridge is easily accessible via the M11, A14, A10 and A428, making travel between jobs straightforward.
