Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Bournemouth is seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to maintain and decorate university campus buildings and student accommodation, delivering high-quality finishes across busy facilities.

You will work Monday to Friday, across occupied and unoccupied spaces, with emphasis on preparation, plastering and both emulsion and gloss finishes. A Basic DBS check is required or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
• Own tools preferred.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Basic DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Availability to start ASAP.

Your new role

As a Painter & Decorator, you will be carrying out a range of decorating duties across university buildings, ensuring a high standard of finish at all times.Key responsibilities include:

• Internal painting and decorating works
• Surface preparation, filling and sanding
• Emulsion, gloss and woodwork painting
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Working within occupied and unoccupied university facilities
