Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Paint Technician in Glasgow for a leading main dealership. The role covers prep, paint application, and finish, with progression opportunities in a busy workshop environment.

You’ll need at least 1 year of paint technician experience in the motor trade and a Full UK driving license; NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 3 or ATA is preferred. Competitive bonus structure and benefits on offer.

• Main dealership experience is ideal but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Preparing vehicles for paint including sanding, masking and priming.
• Mixing and applying paint to manufacturer standards.
• Carrying out paint repairs and full resprays.
• Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
• Maintaining a clean, organised work area.
