Job summary

Group 1 Automotive is seeking a Paint Technician for Volkswagen Altrincham. You will prepare and prime bodywork, mix colours, and ensure high-quality painting and polishing on repaired areas.

You will maintain product knowledge and deliver excellent customer service while keeping the workspace organized and compliant with standards. The role requires a Full UK Driving Licence and prior motor industry experience.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Motor Industry experience in a similar role is essential.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to work to timescales with keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and prime bodywork to manufacturers' specs.
• Mix and colour-match, paint repaired areas to a high standard, and polish as appropriate.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge.
• Maintain high customer service levels to drive loyalty and referrals.
• Maintain good housekeeping and orderly administration of work.

What you’ll do day to day

• Preparing and priming bodywork to manufacturers' specifications
