Job summary

Recruit4staff LTD is seeking a skilled Paint Sprayer in the Wirral area. You will prepare metal surfaces, sand, grind, and polish parts, operate blasting equipment, and apply primers to achieve a high-quality finish. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail and experience in surface preparation and spraying.

The position offers 42.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri, with overtime paid at enhanced rates. A permanent contract with a pension and generous holidays is provided.

Qualifications

• Wet spraying experience.
• Experience in surface preparation techniques.
• Skilled in sanding, grinding, polishing, and blasting.
• Confident using hand tools and surface prep machinery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal surfaces and apply primers to achieve a high-quality finish.
• Sand, grind, and polish components as required.
• Operate blasting equipment and related surface prep machinery.
• Ensure finished surfaces meet quality standards.

Job Details

£15.00 - £16.00 per hr plus Overtime paid at £22.50 - £24.00 per hr
Hours of Work: 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday, 42.5-hour week
Duration: Permanent
Plenty of Overtime OTE £40,000 +
Benefits: Standard Pension, 28 days holiday (including BH), Free Parking, Overtime Paid at x 1.5

Job Role

As a Paint Sprayer, you'll be responsible for ensuring all metal surfaces are properly prepared prior to painting. Your work will involve sanding, grinding, and polishing various components, operating blasting equipment, and applying primers to achieve a high-quality finish. This is a hands‑on role suited for someone with great attention to detail and experience in surface preparation and spraying.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• Wet spraying experience
• Experience in surface preparation techniques
• Skilled in sanding, grinding, polishing, and blasting
• Confident using hand tools and surface prep machinery

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• NVQs in Vehicle Repair (any level)
• NVQs in Engineering Disciplines
