Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Wet Paint Sprayer is essential.
  • Experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment desirable.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Wet spraying metal components and fabricated products.
  • Preparing surfaces prior to painting, including cleaning, masking and preparation.
  • Mixing and preparing paints and coatings to the required specifications.
  • Applying paint using spray equipment to achieve a consistent, high-quality finish.
  • Inspecting completed work for coverage, finish and defects.
  • Carrying out any necessary preparation or remedial work.
  • Working to production schedules and maintaining quality standards.
  • Cleaning and maintaining spray guns and associated equipment.
  • Following COSHH, health and safety and company procedures.
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.

Location: Leicester

Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour

Shift: Days - Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:00, Friday 07:30 to 15:00

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Wet Paint Sprayer to join the workshop team on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and wet spraying metal components to a high standard, ensuring finished products meet the required quality and customer specifications.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Paint Sprayer looking for a stable day-shift position with consistent Monday-to-Friday hours.

Key Responsibilities
