Job summary

Wright Staff Recruitment Ltd in Pershore, Worcestershire, is seeking a Paint Sprayer to join a skilled production team working on safety-critical defence components.

Qualifications

• Previous wet paint spraying experience (industrial or automotive).
• Understanding of COSHH and safe use of PPE.

Responsibilities

• Apply wet paints to a consistent, high-quality finish.
• Mix paints accurately to the correct ratios.
• Use gloss and thickness meters to check finishes.
• Prepare and jig up production workpieces.

Salary £13.49-£15.50 per hour

Duties

• Apply wet paints to a consistent, high-quality finish


• Mix paints accurately to the correct ratios


• Use gloss and thickness meters to check finishes


• Prepare and jig up production workpieces


• Follow paint specifications, gloss levels, and thickness requirements


• Work safely with PPE, following COSHH and H&S procedures


• Move quickly between jobs with minimal supervision


• Organise workflow to keep production on track

Essential skills

• Previous wet paint spraying experience (industrial or automotive)


• Understanding of COSHH and safe use of PPE


• Ability to follow instructions and deliver consistent results


• A positive, can-do attitude, and the ability to work on your own initiative

Desirable:

• Spray painting certification


• Experience using gloss (Gu) and thickness (DFT) meters


• Flexibility to work different shifts when required
