Job summary

Group Lotus is seeking a skilled Paint Sprayer to join the Operations team at our Hethel facility. You will inspect and prepare vehicle body panels and apply primers, base coats, and clear coats to achieve the highest quality finishes in a fast-paced production setting.

You will work to documented processes, maintain safety standards, and contribute to continuous improvement. Shifts include day and twilight with disturbance allowance for twilights.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Paint Sprayer in automotive/manufacturing environments.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Able to work to production targets/deadlines.
• Knowledge of health, safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and inspect vehicle body panels prior to paint application.
• Apply primer, base coat and clear coat finishes to required standards.
• Operate painting equipment safely within a production environment.
• Meet daily production and quality targets set by the Area Supervisor.
• Follow documented processes and quality standards.
• Complete tasks within allocated cycle times.
• Maintain a structured and organised approach to work.
• Support flexible working arrangements as required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and team environment.

The Role

As a Paint Sprayer, you will play a vital role in delivering the exceptional finish and quality our customers expect. You'll be responsible for inspecting and preparing vehicle body panels before applying paint finishes in line with documented processes and quality standards.

Working within a fast-paced production environment, you'll apply primers, base coats, and clear coats using specialist equipment while maintaining the highest levels of quality, efficiency, and safety.

We have day shifts, and twilight shifts, twilights are paid an additional disturbance allowance.
