Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking a Commercial Vehicle Paint Sprayer for our client, a family-run automotive accident repair centre in Tewkesbury. You will apply coatings, colour-match, and finish to high standards while working closely with a supportive team.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate of £16-£20, 28 days leave, in-house training, clear progression paths, and a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent desirable; candidates with substantial on-the-job experience will be considered.
• Willingness to undertake ATA accreditation post-probation.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Experience in commercial vehicle paint spraying is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and prime vehicle bodywork to required specs.
• Mix colours and colour-match for repairs.
• Paint repaired areas and customization work to high standards.
• Polish vehicle surfaces as necessary.
• Maintain current product knowledge.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to promote loyalty and referrals.
• Uphold cleanliness, housekeeping, and health and safety standards.
• Accurately document work and records.

Duties of a Commercial Vehicle Paint Sprayer:

• Preparing and priming vehicle bodywork to the required specifications
• Mixing colours and colour-matching for all vehicle repairs
• Painting repaired areas and customisation work to high standards
• Polishing vehicle surfaces as necessary
• Maintaining detailed and current product knowledge
• Ensuring exceptional customer service to promote loyalty and generate referrals
• Upholding cleanliness, housekeeping, and health and safety standards
• Accurately administering work documentation and records

Requirements of a Commercial Vehicle Paint Sprayer:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer, either current or recent
• Formal NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualifications are desirable; candidates with substantial on-the-job experience will be considered
• Willingness to undertake ATA accreditation post-probation
• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
• Strong team player with good communication skills
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment
• Full UK driving licence with minimal points
• Experience in commercial vehicle paint spraying is advantageous but not essential
