Job summary

Group Lotus is seeking General Operatives to support paint preparation, finishing, and inspection in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will help ensure cosmetics and quality meet high standards, while adhering to safety and process requirements.

These roles are temporary and week-by-week, with potential to contribute to other production areas as needed. Immediate start and English-language communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare components and panels for paint, including cleaning, masking, and surface preparation.
• Support paint application processes (where trained), including priming and finishing.
• Inspect painted components for defects and ensure high-quality standards.
• Carry out rectification or rework as required.
• Follow paint shop processes, standards, and safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas and tools.
• Report defects, material shortages, or process issues to team leaders.
• Work to daily production targets while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Demonstrate flexibility to support other production areas if required.
