Job summary

Group Lotus is recruiting General Operatives to support manufacturing, assembly, paint, and material handling in a fast-paced environment. Roles are temporary with opportunities to work across departments and start immediately.

Carry out assembly, inspection and material handling tasks, while maintaining quality and safety standards. Pay starts at £12.71 per hour with weekly pay and week-by-week contracts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fit, or prepare component parts and panels using a variety of hand or power tools.
• Inspect, prepare, or rework components following documented processes.
• Support daily production output by meeting quality and quantity targets.
• Assist supervisors and team members in achieving build requirements and covering absences when required.
• Report issues such as shortages, defects, or process concerns to team leaders.
• Follow all operational processes accurately and work within allocated timescales.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and PPE in good working condition.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work across different production areas as needed.
