Job summary

Stannah is seeking a dedicated Production Operative to join the newly fitted Paint Plant at our Newburn site. As a Paint Plant Operative, you will load/unload rails for painting, wrap and pack sections for transit, and crate components for distribution.

The role offers a 36-hour week with a 4 days on/4 days off shift pattern, plus a 15% shift premium during work periods. We value team players who are well organised, can work under pressure, and plan/prioritise effectively in a busy manufacturing

Qualifications

• Able to handle varying workloads in a busy production area.
• Willing to train and cross-functional with other departments.
• Experience in manufacturing environments is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload rails for painting.
• Wrap and pack rail sections for transit.
• Inspect work against quality criteria and record results.
• Wrap components with specified materials and techniques.
• Crate components for distribution and shipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional training.
