Job summary

G&P Quality Management is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee the Paint Facility in Warwick. You will be responsible for production performance, quality, safety and environmental compliance, while driving continuous improvement and team development.

This temp-to-perm role offers a 4-day working week with Fridays off and an autonomous leadership position within a well-established manufacturing business.

Qualifications

Are you an experienced manufacturing leader with a background in paint operations, automotive, engineering, or heavy manufacturing environments?

We're looking for a Plant Manager to take responsibility for the overall performance of our Paint Facility in Warwick. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market-leading manufacturer on a temp-to-perm basis, leading production, quality, safety, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement activities across the department.

The Role

As Plant Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operation of the paint facility, ensuring production targets, quality standards, delivery schedules, and health & safety requirements are consistently achieved. You'll be responsible for managing resources, driving continuous improvement initiatives, developing your team, and ensuring the facility operates efficiently and compliantly.

What We're Looking For

• Previous Plant Manager, Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, or Operations Manager experience
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Experience within paint, automotive, manufacturing, engineering, or similar environments
• Knowledge of production planning, continuous improvement, and quality systems
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety and environmental compliance
• A hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving abilities
