Job summary

Arriva London is seeking motivated individuals to start a career as a trainee bus driver. No experience required; you’ll receive full, paid training at our driving school and ongoing support as you become a qualified, confident driver.

You’ll help Londoners get to work and school, with a structured progression from trainee to qualified driver. The role requires flexibility to work weekends and shifts, and a commitment to excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 with a UK driving licence for at least 6 months. No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
• A friendly attitude and commitment to great customer service
• Willingness to work weekends and flexible shift patterns
• Must pass a drug and alcohol test as part of your assessment

Responsibilities

• Drive bus routes safely and provide excellent customer service
• Work across required shifts as per rota and training schedule
