Teaching Personnel are partnering with Sheffield secondary schools to recruit graduates and career changers into a 2-year salaried teacher training programme that starts in January 2027. In year one, you’ll work as a Cover Supervisor in a Sheffield school, gaining classroom experience and developing your skills.

The programme blends paid school-based experience with professional development and a fully funded PGCE and QTS, providing a clear route into teaching and a potential permanent position

Formación

• UK bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with young people.
• Professional and reliable approach.
• Willingness to learn and respond positively to feedback.
• Good classroom management and organisational skills.
• Ambition to become a qualified teacher.

Responsabilidades

• Delivering lessons using resources provided by teaching staff.
• Supervising classes and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Supporting pupils with their learning.
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Building positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Working alongside experienced teachers and support staff.
• Observing lessons to develop understanding of effective teaching.
• Participating in training and professional development opportunities.
