Paid Search Lead

Description
We are seeking a data-driven, strategic, and innovative Paid Search Lead to join our growing Global Paid Media team. This role is central to driving revenue, traffic, and brand awareness across our global D2C website(s), with a specific focus on paid search channels (Google, Bing, etc.). Reporting into the Global Head of Paid Media, you will manage substantial budgets, optimize performance campaigns, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment with brand and business objectives.
What Will You Do?
- Own and manage global paid search strategy and execution to support D2C sales and brand growth targets.
- Plan, implement, and optimize campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and other search engines.
- Work closely with the Global Head of Paid Media to forecast spend and allocate significant budgets effectively to maximise incremental ROI and achieve business KPIs (CAC, ROAS, LTV).
- Analyse campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, Looker, and Power BI to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Ecommerce, CRM, Brand, Content, and Creative teams to ensure campaign synergy.
- Build strong relationships with search platform representatives to stay ahead of trends, access beta opportunities, and troubleshoot issues.
- Develop and execute A/B testing strategies on ad copy, bidding strategies, and audience targeting.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to keep Elemis at the forefront of paid media innovation.
- Ensure alignment with brand tone, guidelines, and global/regional priorities.
The Perfect Candidate
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in paid search marketing, ideally within a D2C ecommerce environment.
- Proven track record of managing and optimizing large-scale budgets globally
- Strong analytical skills and deep familiarity with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and other PPC tools/platforms.
- Excellent understanding of the digital media ecosystem, especially how paid search fits within a broader media mix.
- Comfortable interpreting complex data and presenting insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly organized with excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with retail/beauty/skincare brands is a plus.
