Job description

From bags and accessories to leather-bound notebooks, diaries and stationery; every Smythson piece embodies meticulous craft and an unmistakable sense of British sophistication.

As we enter 2025, we want to strengthen our Digital Marketing Team with a focus on marketing efforts on digital media. With exciting and ambitious growth plans to deliver, we are searching for channel experts to join our team.

As Paid Search Executive you will be working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, and the digital team to deliver and improve the Smythson online marketing campaigns. The role’s primary focus is to run all paid search activity across all territories. It will also involve working on paid social, display, affiliates, and other digital marketing channels when required.

Key responsibilities will include:

Digital Marketing

PPC

  1. Day-to-day management of all campaigns, focusing on optimization to drive the expected ROAS. Working with internal teams to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  2. Review and improve the account structure to maximise impression share, traffic, and revenue.
  3. Scheduling all campaigns to guarantee timely launches.
  4. Constant in-platform monitoring of performance.

Other paid channels (mostly Display and Paid Social)

  1. Support as required to ensure all ads are launched on time and optimised.
  2. Coordinate all the assets required, from briefing to the design team to uploading to the engines.
  3. Manage the full funnel ad plan and build social ads.

Other

  1. Produce daily / weekly / monthly reports for the Ecommerce team.
  2. Monthly digital marketing reporting.
  3. Analysis of performance marketing campaign.

Successful candidates will preferably come from an agency background with at least 2 years running campaigns. Hands-on experience of managing paid search campaigns on Google is a must, with multi-territory experience advantageous. You will have strong organisational and time management skills, ensuring all deadlines are met, working alongside the rest of the digital marketing team.

This is a hybrid role, working 2 days in our office, which has a lovely location based on Sloane Street.

Salary: £35-40k per annum, depending on experience.
