Job summary

Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Ocean Day Unit in the Children’s Outpatient department. The role is permanent, 37.5 hours per week, across 5 rostered days.

You will join a team delivering high standards of paediatric care and benefit from in-house study courses and postgraduate education through Middlesex University. Responsibilities

• Assess care needs for all patients and ensure planned care is implemented and evaluated.
• Work with minimal supervision as part of the nursing team at North Middlesex University Hospital Trust.
• Provide care within the Ocean Day Unit without supervision to prevent admission or reduce hospitalisation, and support students.
• Collaborate with the Ocean Day Unit Nursing Team with guidance from Band 5/6 staff nurses and the Ward Manager.
• Contribute to assessment, planning and implementation of evidence-based care for children and their families, working with other agencies to ensure seamless service.
