Job summary

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals is seeking a Paediatric Staff Nurse (Band 5) to provide high-quality, child-centred care in the paediatric assessment and day unit. You will deliver evidence-based nursing care, support families, and contribute to multidisciplinary rounds.

The role is permanent, full time (37.5 hours per week) pro rata, with a salary of £36,943–£44,900 per year pro rata, outer London. Appointments welcome candidates with RN Child and NMC registration.

Qualifications

• RN Child with NMC registration.
• Degree in relevant health subject.

Responsibilities

• To deliver evidence based care to a high standard, providing a holistic approach to nursing care for children and young people admitted for day admissions.
• To implement and evaluate family centred care and to be responsible for the delivery of care and assessment, development and evaluations of individual programmes of care.
• To mentor pre-registration students.
