Are you an enthusiastic self-driven Speech and Language Therapist with a passion for empowering children to succeed in their education Words First is calling you! We are looking for talented therapists to join our rapidly expanding Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) across London and the surrounding areas.

What You’ll Do

As a Words First Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT) you’ll develop and deliver tailored speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of children across mainstream, primary, secondary and specialist settings. You’ll work at Universal, Targeted and Specialist levels supporting between 1 and 4 schools all within a reasonable commute from your location. Plus, enjoy one full day every other week to work from home on caseload management research and planning!

Who We’re Looking For

We’re searching for passionate, driven and reliable individuals who are:

  • Excellent communicators with strong interpersonal skills
  • Excited to collaborate within an MDT and learn from peers
  • Adaptable, patient and empathetic in their approach
  • Experienced in working with children, preferably in a school setting
  • Skilled in report writing with at least one year of experience as a paediatric speech and language therapist
Minimum Requirements
  • HCPC-approved Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) in Speech and Language Therapy
  • Full HCPC registration or in the process of registration
  • Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check (covered by Words First)
