Job summary

Livewell Southwest is recruiting a Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist to support the CYP Speech and Language Service across Plymouth. You will manage a mixed paediatric caseload in community clinics, early years settings and schools, delivering direct therapy aligned to individual needs.

The role emphasises CPD, audit and mentorship, with clinical supervision and annual appraisal. A 7-day service expectation may require flexibility across locations within the city.

Qualifications

• Essentially requires qualified speech and language therapist with paediatric focus.
• HCPC registration and RCSLT membership are required.
• Ability to travel between Livewell Southwest sites across Plymouth for community work.

Responsibilities

• Provide independently managed speech and language service for a paediatric caseload.
• Assess, interpret complex information and plan evidence-based treatment.
• Deliver training and advice in schools, nurseries, and community settings.
• Maintain CPD, professional supervision and appraisal as part of the role.
