Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Paediatric Safeguarding Liaison Nurse to support vulnerable children and families across our services.

You will act as a key link between acute hospital services and community partners, promoting timely information sharing and early identification of safeguarding needs. Join our multidisciplinary safeguarding team to strengthen collaboration with health visitors, school nurses, GPs and social care, ensuring coordinated, holistic care.

Responsabilidades

• Review attendances within the Emergency Department and other unscheduled care settings, identifying potential safeguarding concerns and working with community agencies to promote safety and wellbeing.
• Act as a key link between paediatric hospital services and community 0–19 services, ensuring effective partnership working across care settings.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to healthcare professionals, social care, mental health services and community teams to support coordinated care.
