Job summary
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is recruiting for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join the national paediatric renal service at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow. The role involves advanced clinical care for children with complex renal conditions, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and prescribing where appropriate, across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Qualifications
- Current NMC registration as a Children's Nurse.
- Master’s level qualification in Advanced Practice (or equivalent).
- Nurse Independent Prescriber qualification (V300) and autonomous practice.
Responsibilities
- Autonomous assessment, diagnosis and management of paediatric renal patients in inpatient/outpatient settings.
- Develop and implement treatment plans; prescribe where appropriate.
- Collaborate with the wider renal network and support clinical decision-making.
- Lead service development and influence clinical practice within paediatric renal services.
