Job summary

Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 Paediatric Physiotherapist to deliver specialist services to children and young people across Somerset. You will assess needs, formulate clinical diagnoses and provide interventions to support mobility and participation in daily activities.

You will work closely with children, families and schools within a family-centred, multidisciplinary team. Travel across Somerset to clinics, schools and family homes is required, with involvement in audits

Qualifications

• Registered physiotherapist with HCPC.
• Degree in Physiotherapy from an approved program.
• Experience with paediatric populations is essential.
• Strong communication and organisation abilities.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist paediatric physiotherapy to children and young people.
• Assess physical, sensory and functional needs and provide interventions.
• Support mobility, independence and participation in activities.
• Collaborate with schools, nurseries, healthcare colleagues and families.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service development.
• Travel across Somerset to clinics, schools, community settings and family homes.
