The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced Physiotherapist to join their multidisciplinary team, managing a caseload of children aged 0-19. The position requires clinical expertise, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Job summary
Working Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
We are looking for an experienced, skilled and enthusiastic clinician to work within our integrated multidisciplinary team providing assessment andmanagement of children aged 0-19 years.
The post is open to an experienced Physiotherapist with postgraduate experience. You will be expected to coordinate your own caseload ofchildren, liaise closely with the MDT, contribute to service development and provide supervision to Band 5 Therapists and Therapy Assistants where appropriate.
Main duties of the jobExperience in prioritisation, patient led goal setting, clinical outcome measures and advanced clinical reasoning are essential.
The post holder will provide a specialist Physiotherapy assessment of patients with complex clinical presentation and pathology to determine aclinical diagnosis and provide treatment via therapeutic interventions and develop effective treatment plans. They will manage and leadspecialised Physiotherapy intervention to a designated caseload with complex needs.
Our service covers children aged 0-19 who will be seen over various settings including the child's home, Children Centers, Nurseries, Schools and in the Therapy Department.
