Job summary

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop OT services for school-age children with complex disabilities and neurological conditions.
• Carry out a range of assessments and interventions.
• Provide advice and support to educational and community settings.
• Assess and advise on housing and adaptation, manual handling and access in educational and community settings.
• Provide specialist comprehensive assessment of patients with complex presentations.
• Coordinate care and plan treatment with staff, patients, carers and agencies.
• Be responsible and accountable for treatment, equipment use, resources and documentation.
• Collect, analyse and deliver complex clinical information for education or service development.
