Job summary

Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Paediatric Oncology and Haematology Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to join our established CNS team. You will provide specialist support, education, and coordination of the child’s cancer journey from diagnosis, through treatment, and into follow‑up, across the CUH services and East of England.

In this role you will work with a multidisciplinary team, undertaking senior nursing duties and supporting patients, families, and staff

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge and experience in paediatric haematology and oncology at a senior nursing level.
• Ability to work independently and manage a defined caseload.
• Excellent communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as key worker for child’s cancer journey from diagnosis to follow-up.
• Coordinate care across Primary Treatment Centre and with shared care hospitals.
• Support development and delivery of education and mentoring within the team.
