Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Registered Paediatric Nurse for a part-time role (min 23 hrs) in our Woodlands Ward. We promote our trust values of kindness, integrity, teamwork and equality and offer a supportive, developmental environment with a robust induction and a dedicated Practice Development Nurse.

The ward supports general medical/surgical paediatrics, day admissions, SCBU and a high dependency cubicle, with close collaboration with Leeds Children’s Hospital.

Qualifikationen

• Registered RN (Child) with NMC.
• Experience working with children, infants and young persons.
• Desirable: EPALS and safeguarding training.

Aufgaben

• Provide child-centered, evidence-based care on Woodlands Ward, SCBU, Paediatric Outpatients and other areas as appropriate.
• Deliver family-centered care and be responsible for delivery of care.
• Take delegated responsibility for patients in a team to ensure smooth unit operations.
• Mentor pre-registration students.
• Act as Nurse in Charge of the shift when required.
