Job summary

Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital is seeking a Paediatric Nurse (RSCN) for the Leeds Hospital ward on a bank basis. This part-time role offers flexible hours and a pay rate of up to £22 per hour. You must be registered with the NMC and have post-registration paediatric experience; ILS/ALS are desirable, to support care for children aged 3–16.

The position focuses on delivering high-quality, compassionate care within a multidisciplinary ward team and supporting families during the patient journey.

Qualifications

• NMC registration and post-registration paediatric experience.
• Ideally hold ILS or ALS certification.
• Comfortable caring for children aged 3–16 during pre/post operative stays.
• Ability to support families and work within a ward team.

Responsibilities

• Provide paediatric nursing care on the ward.
• Support children and families throughout hospital stay.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and clinics.
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care.
